Understanding TRT & Hormone Dosages

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) often involve injectable oil-based compounds. Unlike aqueous peptides, these do not require reconstitution. However, the math can be confusing when converting milligrams (the dose your doctor prescribed) into milliliters or syringe units (what you actually draw).

Common Compounds

  • Testosterone Cypionate/Enanthate: Usually 200mg/mL (Standard US concentration).
  • Testosterone Propionate: Usually 100mg/mL (Requires more volume).
  • Estradiol Valerate (HRT): Often 20mg/mL or 40mg/mL .

Men's TRT (Typical)

Common doses range from 100mg to 200mg per week.
Example: 100mg of 200mg/mL Test Cyp = 0.5mL (50 Units).

Women's TRT (Typical)

Much smaller doses, often 10mg to 20mg per week.
Example: 15mg of 200mg/mL Test Cyp = 0.075mL (7.5 Units).
